2026 Litter Seminar presented by Walking For Rochester
Walking For Rochester presents
Litter Seminar: “Litter Revolution”
About the event
Join us for the Litter Seminar: “Litter Revolution,” an inspiring and informative evening that unveils Walking For Rochester’s citywide litter elimination system. This event marks the next chapter in Rochester’s journey to become the first litter-free city in the nation.
Since 2020, Walking For Rochester has built a proven model for neighborhood cleanups, volunteer engagement, and community pride. Now we are taking that model to the next level and expanding it across the city. The Litter Seminar: “Litter Revolution” is where we will share that plan, outline the system that makes it possible, and invite others to join in partnership.
The seminar will include presentations and discussions led by Walking For Rochester along with other community organizations, agencies, and partners focused on environment, public health, and neighborhood development. Together, we will explore how Rochester can lead by example and show that a litter-free city is possible through structure, collaboration, and action.
This is your chance to see the full picture of what’s coming in 2026 and how you can be part of it.

Why this matters
Litter affects every part of life in Rochester. It influences how our neighborhoods look and feel, how safe people feel walking down a street, how businesses thrive, and how residents connect with one another. It is more than an appearance issue; it is about pride, ownership, and opportunity.
Walking For Rochester’s litter elimination system is designed to tackle these challenges head-on. It connects residents, volunteers, and businesses into one united effort to build a city that reflects the pride of the people who live here. The Litter Seminar “Litter Revolution” is your opportunity to learn, connect, and help advance this collective goal.
